Important: When you delete your account, deletion is permanent. If your account is paired, the shared couple space is also deleted, including shared chat, media, location history and partner notification records. Your partner will be shown that the partner account was deleted and will need to sign in again to start fresh.
1) Delete in the app
- Open True Blue.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Profile or Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation message and tap Delete permanently.
2) Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email us from your registered email address and we will process your request after verification.

3) What gets deleted from active systems
- Your True Blue profile, app settings and device/push tokens.
- Your Firebase Authentication account where deletion is requested by the signed-in account holder.
- The pairing/couple link and shared couple database record.
- Shared chat messages, typing/receipt data and key recovery records.
- Shared photos, videos, audio messages, chat backgrounds and other media stored for the couple.
- Location sharing records, live location sessions, safety/location history and alerts.
- Partner notification sharing records stored in the app backend.
- Pending pair codes owned by the affected users.
4) What happens to your partner
If you are paired, deleting your account also removes the shared couple space for both users. Your partner's app profile/couple data in True Blue is reset. The partner app will show a message such as “Your partner deleted their account” and a Back to login option so the partner can start fresh.
5) What may remain temporarily or outside our control
- Deleted data may remain for a limited time in encrypted backups or provider logs until those backups/logs are automatically overwritten or expired.
- We may retain minimal information only where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution or to complete a verified deletion request.
- Your paired partner may have local copies, screenshots, downloads or cached media outside True Blue's backend control.
6) Fresh start after deletion
After deletion, if you install True Blue again and sign in, the app starts fresh. You will need to generate a new pair code or pair with a partner again.
7) Timeline
In-app deletion is processed immediately on our active backend systems. Verified email deletion requests are usually completed within 7–30 days. If more information is needed to verify the account, we will reply by email.
